After I mentioned some of the new sites that are offering up online services I started to look around and see if I could find any good information on them. Seeing how I dropped their names, I should should review them. But why do that when I can find quality bloggers who have done that for me. Man do I love web 2.0!

Wesabe Want to see a demo? Or would you like to read a review?
Cost:Free (there are rumors of a premium service in the future)Matt is a former Quicken user, who has switched. It’s a decent read, and his name is Matt so he can’t be all that bad.
Geezeo Want to see a demo? Or would you like to read a review?
Cost: Free I had a hard time finding a true review of Geezeo. Here’s the best I found.

mint No demo but more info? Or would you like to read a review?
Cost: Free. I read Get Rich Slowly all the time. It’s a blog I have always kept an eye on.
Quicken Online Want to see a demo? Or would you like to read a review?
Cost: $2.99 a month. Decent review. Also, it takes a look at mint.
Security. If I’m going to load all my account numbers into a software program I want to make sure it’s bomb proof. That’s why right now I’m a little wary. And I’m going to read all the user agreements before I sign up for something. I want to know how they are going to protect me if they are ever compromised. The best part is all the companies I looked at take security, and privacy very seriously. They usually have two or three different security systems, Thawte, RSA, Trust Certified, Etc; and good practices for logins, and data storage. But I am hesitant to turn over my finances to a recent start up. What if they don’t survive? Is the world big enough for all of them? Why yes it is.
Your finances are yours, and so is the decision as to who you will choose. Sorry if you wanted me to tell you which one is for you. It’s not my place to direct you, only to make sure that you have the ability to make an informed decision.
cheers
